As much as I do enjoy paper-piecing, every now and then I need a break from it. Maybe a month or so ago I picked up these two awesome Doctor Who fabrics:
And I've also been wanting to clear out a bit of my blue scrap stash. I had quite a few blues from when I was trying to make a blue and white Christmas-y Dear Jane. Seeing as I've gone over to rainbow Jane and really just don't want to work on it anymore I needed to do SOMETHING with the blues.
After some digging, I rediscovered
Bonnie Hunter's Jared takes a wife. Perfect pattern for my needs! And I've made it before several or so years ago. Here's some progress pictures (the Daleks will be the star centers):
